The Graduate School is now recruiting students for the following five programs.
Master’s Degree Program|Master's Degree Program (English)|Doctoral Degree Program|Non-Degree Students|Non-Degree Research Students
Master’s Degree Program and Doctoral Degree Program are now recruiting students for February Round for Enrollment from April or Enrollment from October.
Application Guidelines are distributed in the printed book version. Individuals who need the Application Guidelines should contact the Academic Affairs Division noted below.
* Before application, make sure to obtain the printed book version of Application Guidelines.
To obtain the Application Guidebook in person at the Front Desk;
You can obtain the Application Guidebook at the Front Desk of the Academic Affairs Division, Graduate School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Building.

To obtain the Application Guidebook by mail:

Enclose a self-addressed return envelope with postal stamps equivalent to 400 yen on it (envelope for A4 (kakugata #2, 240×332 mm) with name and address of the applicant explicitly written on it). Request to:

◎February Round (for individuals seeking entry in April or October, 2019)
Application Period: Friday, January 4 to Thursday, January 10, 2018 [applications must arrive within this period]
Entrance Examination Date: Friday, February 15, 2019

Selection Procedure
Procedure for Screening Students for Admission is outlined as below.
General Entrance Examination |
For those who submitted a Master's Thesis, the submitted Document, Written Examination, and Oral Examination are all taken into consideration when selecting students. ● In the Document screening, Master's Thesis is examined. ● Content of Written Examination is one foreign language course. ● Oral Examination will be conducted based primarily on the Master's Thesis and the application documents. For those who can't submit a Master's Thesis, Written Examination and Oral Examination are all taken into consideration when selecting students. ● Contents of the Written Examination are specialized course (one course relating to the Major and Field to which you aim to be admitted) and one foreign language course. ● The specialized courses taken in the examination and the application documents are used as the main reference materials for the oral examination. |

For applicants of these programs, foreign language proficiency (Japanese language proficiency for International Students) may be assessed, which is required for the curriculum after their entry. |

Be sure to read through the details on application procedure before application. Bank Transfer Form for Entrance Examination Fee (9,800 yen) cannot be downloaded. Receive it in person at Academic Affairs Division, Graduate School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education Building or request it by mail. If you wish to make a remittance from abroad, contact us by e-mail.

Individuals seeking entry as Non-Degree Students with a residency status of Study Abroad students are required to register 10 (7 courses) or more unit hours. Those who don't meet this requirement are not allowed to apply the admission. For further information, refer to the following Application Guidelines.
