Master’s Degree Program
Graduate School of Modern Society and Culture offers special systems such as Special Selective Examination and Long-term Completion system to support working students who wish to study and pursue a master's degree while working, and make use of the knowledge and achievement for their business.
Outline of Procedure for Screening Working Students for Admission [Master’s Degree Program]
Special Selective Examination for Working Students (Master’s Degree Program) |
Written Examination and Oral Examination are all taken into consideration when selecting students. ●Applicants are selected through the Written Examination with a short essay. Research Plan is used as the reference material for a short essay. ●Oral Examination will be conducted based primarily on the application documents. |

Entrance examinations are held three times a year: September Round (for Enrollment from April), February Round (for Enrollment from April or Enrollment from October), and July Round (for Enrollment from October).
Long-term Completion System
For working students (including self-employment and temporary employment), mentally or physically disabled students, or those who give birth or need to take care of family members such as children or the elderly, this system allows students to take a course according to a scheduled completion plan and complete a Master’s Degree Program in a period of 4 years or 5 years which is extended beyond the standard term of completion years (Master’s Degree Program for 2 years).

"Special Exception of Education Method" for Working Students (a special exception under Article 14)
The Graduate School has day and evening courses and intensive courses during holiday periods to offer various types of courses and education methods arranging times or periods suitable for working individuals to enroll while remaining employed, according to the special provision on Education Method stipulated in Article 14 of the Standards for Establishment of Graduate Schools.

For those who submitted a Master's Thesis, Written Examination and Oral Examination are all taken into consideration when selecting students. ●In the written Examination, Master's Thesis will be reviewed. For those who can't submit a Master's Thesis, Written Examination and Oral Examination are all taken into consideration when selecting students. ●Content of the Written Examination is a specialized course (one course relating to the Major and Field to which you aim to be admitted). |
